New Kuta Golf Course
New Kuta Golf, set on Bali's Bukit Peninsula cliffs in Pecatu, offers both a challenging course and stunning views. Covering 85 hectares, it’s just 20 minutes from Ngurah Rai Airport. Opened in 2007 and designed by Golfplan, it’s Indonesia’s first links-style course, blending naturally with the landscape.
The course hosted the 2009 Indonesian Open, where golfer Thongchai Jaidee praised its tough design. It’s often ranked among the top golf resorts in Indonesia and Asia for its excellent maintenance and facilities. With ocean views and dramatic cliffside holes, the course offers a memorable experience for all skill levels.
The front nine winds through lush terrain, with Hole 6 named after designer Ronald Fream —being a favorite. The back nine’s Hole 14 descends towards the ocean, and Hole 15, "The Cliffhanger," offers breathtaking views from high above the waves.
New Kuta is also committed to sustainability, preserving native features and minimizing its environmental impact. Small shrines and glimpses of Balinese ceremonies enhance the cultural charm.
The course ends at the par-5 18th, leading back to the clubhouse. A 2 pm tee time is perfect for catching Bali's stunning sunset as you finish your round at New Kuta Golf.
