Stone Highland Golf and Resort lies about 56 km from central Hanoi, between the cities of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang, with the Ring Road 4 running nearby. The course is built on a hilly former quarry site in what was Viet Yen district, now part of Bac Ninh province. The 18-hole layout is by Brian Curley of Schmidt-Curley, the first of two planned courses. The site has about 100 m of elevation change. The front nine winds past streams, lakes and areas of exposed rock, while the back nine climbs to the highest ground before finishing around the old quarry. The club highlights an elevated green at the 4th, about 140 m up, and floodlights allow night golf. The clubhouse covers about 2,000 m2, with locker rooms, a restaurant, VIP rooms and a first-floor event hall for more than 300 guests. There is also a driving range and a pro shop.
