Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort lies in a valley beside Thanh Lanh Lake, with the Tam Dao mountains behind it, about an hour's drive north of Hanoi. The course opened in 2021 as part of the Serena Valley resort. Sir Nick Faldo designed the 18 holes, nine of which sit on a peninsula in the lake. The course measures more than 7,000 yards from five sets of tees, and natural streams have been kept as hazards. The closing holes run back along the shore to the clubhouse. The castle-style clubhouse has a restaurant seating about 400 and locker rooms with a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. There is also a driving range and a pro shop.
